Your data
Privacy
Plain-language summary of how we handle data in Phase 1.
What we collect
For accounts: your email. For coaches: the profile details you add. For students: the reviews and alerts you create. We use privacy-respecting product analytics to understand which features work (events like searches and profile views, not the content of your private activity).
Unclaimed-profile policy
To make the directory useful from day one, some coach profiles are created before the coach joins. These profiles:
- use public information only (nothing private, nothing fabricated);
- are clearly labeled Unclaimed everywhere they appear;
- show no aggregate score badge on leaderboards until claimed, so an unclaimed coach is never ranked on data they haven't stood behind;
- carry an immediate path to claim the profile or request its removal.
Claiming or removing a profile
If a profile is yours, claim it by verifying identity, which grants you editing and the ability to reply to reviews. If you'd rather it didn't exist, email hello@unsolvd.co and we will remove an unclaimed profile promptly, no questions asked. You don't have to claim a profile to have it removed.
Messages
Messages you send through Unsolvd are stored so both participants can read their conversations. They are private to the participants; if a participant reports a conversation, Unsolvd may review it for safety. Your email address is never shown to the other side of a conversation, and message content is excluded from our product analytics.
Reviews and your data
Reviews you write are public and tied to your account but shown with your format/stakes context rather than your identity. Published reviews are permanent (see our Trust page) and not silently deleted; we may remove reviews that break our content rules.
We send transactional email only: claim confirmations, review notifications, and alerts you opt into. You can unsubscribe from alerts at any time.
